The Legacy Zine is 55 pages of poetry, Black history lessons, hot visuals, three original knitting patterns, and a playlist of over 5 and a half hours of a deep dive into country music.

For the Ancestors

Here we are breaking molds, forming molds, and then being pushed out of our own culture for the favoring of an over cultural perspective.

Using shapes and styles that are recognized as inherently western and then adding these pops of color that say- I can’t hide. I won’t, until the songs we all sing are ones where freedom is realized.
