Are you struggling with ritualizing your creative practice and want to get into a routine with the support of expert guides and creative community? are you burnt out and running on empty from your 9-5 and just want some time to create without the pressures of being at home? are you craving new inspiration or your next breakthrough? are you feeling stuck or disconnected from your creative flow? This is for you.
Hosted by Knitwear Designer and Meditation teacher Lauren McElroy and Master Quilter Mary Johnston.
I used to beat myself up over not producing work fast enough, or good enough. Now I flow with the cycles of my creativity and have learned to use each phase as an opportunity that feeds my growth and my overall body of work. Through meditation, journaling, and various embodiment practices I have been able to craft a successful and sustainable creative life that is led by my intuition.
Everyone tells you that you need to breathe, rest, follow your intuition, but rarely are people sitting down with you and teaching you HOW. I am going to spend the weekend with you, guiding you through practices that have helped me because I believe that we need creative people to take up their work and bring it out into the world.
We need people who are PRACTICED in the art of creativity, not stuck. Because if we are going to build the world that we want to see, we need people with vision who can also make it happen.
🕯️
This is your time to listen to that voice that’s been whispering ‘Slow down, Breathe, create for yourself again”
Creation is a gift, your art is a benefit to all of humanity, the world needs your gifts. Give yourself the time to devote to your creative practice in the presence of fellow creatives.
We will be drawing on the wisdom of “The artist’s way”, Meditation techniques, the work that reconnects, intuitive journaling, periods of noble silence, and song.
You can expect leave feeling refreshed, with a renewed sense of clarity, and ready to start your year with intention.
Join us at the reset retreat to re-ignite and fuel your creative fire.
We would be honored to have you join us.
Upon registration, expect a receipt email, and keep your eyes open for an additional email from me with important information on how to get to the event space, what to bring, what not to bring and other details about your retreat.
