Spring 2024 Lauren McElroy: Feliz Capsule Collection

This collection was inspired by the healing waters and the pebble beaches on the north shores of Lake Superior. May all water be loved, cared for, and clean for all the generations to come.

Our collection with Lauren McElroy celebrates the versatility of Feliz: the wool/modal fiber blend gives both drape and body to these warm-weather knits. Simple textures stay light enough to layer for multi-season wear - see how Feliz plays with a multitude of textures in the different pieces for a beautiful effect.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Small: 2” wide and 22” long

Medium: 2½” wide and 32” long

Large: 2½” wide and 41” long

Note: Width is measured over the widest part of the Pebble Stitch sections.

MATERIALS

Manos del Uruguay FELIZ (70% superwash merino, 30% modal; approx. 350 yds/100 g): 1 sk for all sizes

US 6/4 mm straight needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

Tapestry needle

GAUGE

26 sts and 30 rows = 4”/10 cm in Pebble Stitch, blocked.

Exact gauge is not critical for the success of this project but may affect the finished measurements.

NOTES

This project is infinitely adjustable. You can change its length by working more or fewer rows in each section, or by adding more sections. For a wider piece, work more increase rows in the beginning point, making sure that your final stitch count is a multiple of 4 stitches plus 1, then work more decrease rows in the ending point to eliminate the extra stitches.
